The "Redshirts" are comprised of current and former members of the Rural Electric Cooperative Youth Leadership Council (YLC). They are outstanding youth leaders in their communities and local electric cooperatives.

Some of the Redshirts assist with the Youth Tour program and attend the Youth Leadership Council (YLC) conference in July.

The current Redshirts will trade in their short sleeves for red sweaters at the NRECA Annual Meeting. It is impossible for annual meeting attendees NOT to
spot them in a crowd!
