Ohio

Year you were on Youth Tour:
2001

YLC Year:
2001-2002

Name of the University you attend/attended/will attend:
Ohio University (Graduate, November 2005)

Favorite YT Memory:
Being able to spend time with other students who were genuinely concerned about the well-being and the progress of our country. I also enjoyed the friendships I formed - not only with those from my state, but also from across the country.

Favorite YLC Memory:
Friendships were formed that have lasted to this day. Being able to understand where others come from, their backgrounds and what is important to them was part of getting to know each other during my YLC time. The year I spent on YLC included many memories: having to stay at the airport for awhile because quite a few flights were changed; the “bracelet gang” (those of us who were the last ones picked up from the airport!); doing an illegal U-turn in the middle of a Texas highway during convention week; and being able to actively make a small difference.

Favorite Song:
“She Thinks She Needs Me”

Favorite Band:
Rascal Flatts
